About the client

The client is a car transport and import company that specializes in vehicle delivery across Europe. Each quote it issues is made up of several costs: delivery, customs fees, registration charges and commissions.

The challenge

Quotes were calculated by hand, which made them slow to prepare and prone to errors.

  • Each quote had to be worked out one cost item at a time
  • Pricing errors led to disputes with customers and lost revenue
  • Delayed quotes cost sales, and incoming requests arrived without any alert
